REFUND & CANCELLATION
Refund eligibility and cancellation procedures.
This policy applies to fees paid directly to SRAS for application, assessment, learning, award or renewal services. The service description, total price and when work will begin should be confirmed before payment. This policy does not limit cancellation or refund rights that apply by law.
1. Application and route fees
Fees cover the services identified in the written payment information. Once SRAS has begun a requested eligibility review, learning supply, evidence review or assessment, the amount refundable may be reduced to reflect services already supplied, where the law and information given before payment allow. No eligibility form payment is taken unless separately confirmed.
2. Cancellation before services begin
If you cancel before SRAS begins the paid service, request a refund promptly at office@sras.org.uk and include your name, payment date and service. Any deduction must be lawful and consistent with information disclosed before payment. Where consumer cancellation rights apply, SRAS will honour them, including rules concerning services or digital content begun during a cancellation period.
3. Renewal and status fees
Renewal does not occur automatically unless this is expressly agreed. If a renewal service has begun or renewed status has been activated, refund entitlement will depend on the work supplied, the information given before payment and applicable law. Suspension, lapse or withdrawal resulting from a policy process does not automatically create a refund right.
4. Requests, decisions and exceptional circumstances
SRAS will consider documented exceptional circumstances fairly and may request relevant information. Refund decisions will be provided in writing, normally to the original payer, and any approved payment will normally use the original payment method where practicable. If you disagree with a decision, use the published complaints procedure. Nothing in this policy removes statutory rights.
