TERMS & CONDITIONS
Terms governing use of SRAS services.
These terms govern use of the SRAS website, eligibility applications, qualification routes, assessments, status services and related communications. They should be read with the Privacy Notice, Refund and Cancellation Policy, Code of Conduct and other published SRAS policies. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
1. Scope and acceptance
By using the website or submitting an application, you agree to the terms and policies that apply at that time. An application is a request for eligibility review and does not guarantee acceptance, enrolment, assessment outcome, award, renewal or employment. Material changes will be published; where appropriate, affected applicants or status holders will be notified.
2. Information, fees and cancellation
You must provide complete, accurate and lawful information and promptly correct material changes. SRAS may pause or refuse an application, assessment or status where information is incomplete, misleading, unverifiable or inconsistent with published requirements. Fees, included services and payment timing will be confirmed before payment. Cancellation and refund rights are governed by the published Refund and Cancellation Policy and applicable consumer law.
3. Service limits and responsibility
SRAS provides private qualification, standards and information services; it is not a regulator, statutory licensing authority, employer, production guarantor or substitute for legal, veterinary, insurance, welfare, competence or risk checks. To the extent permitted by law, SRAS is not responsible for independent decisions or conduct outside its own services. Nothing excludes liability where exclusion would be unlawful, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
4. Governing law, concerns and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory protections that apply to you. Questions or concerns should first be sent to office@sras.org.uk. Complaints, appeals and conduct matters are handled under the published Complaints, Appeals and Discipline Policy. These terms do not prevent either party from exercising legal rights or using an appropriate court or dispute process.
